Parenting a teenager comes with many challenges and helping your teen navigate anxiety can leave many parents feeling helpless and frustrated. In this workshop we examine adolescent anxiety head on: what is it and what can you do to help?
Participants will leave with a framework for understanding and responding to anxiety within the context of adolescent development. We will explore different parenting responses and values and how these impact both teens’ and parents’ ability to survive this challenging experience.
This Workshop was facilitated by Dr. Sheri Turrell and Angela Robinson, PhD, two mental health professionals who work with teens and parents.
